Galician Whispers: fostering diversity through tales and legends - Youth Exchange in 2023
This Erasmus+ project takes place in the summer of 2023 in Carucedo (El Bierzo), where we brought together participants from five countries to explore legends, traditions and folktales as a way of reflecting on the diversity and common values that unite us.
For whom?
This youth exchange brings together 36 young people from six different countries: Spain, Italy, Estonia, Croatia and Greece (5 participants + group leader).
Goals
The aim is to deepen understanding of diversity and intercultural communication through non-formal education in order to combat cultural prejudices and stereotypes.
Where and when?
The project takes place in the town of Carucedo, next to the gold mines of Las Médulas, during 9 days (8/10-17/10 of 2023).
